Walk The Jesus Trail 2014 will take place from March 8-14, through fabulous scenery starting out from the center of Jesus’ Ministry in Capernaum and finishing in Nazareth with free time to explore or visit the Hospital.
The forty mile walk will journey through the Mount of Beatitudes, Tabgha, the Jesus Boat at Kibbutz Ginosar, Migdal, the Arbel National Park, Nebi Shu’eib, the Horns of Hattin, Kibbutz Lavi, Ilaniya, Cana and the Zippori National Park.
A licensed tour guide will accompany walkers and accommodation will be provided, along with all meals.
The Walk is being held to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Chapel at the Nazareth Hospital and to help raise funds to support the ministry of the Chaplaincy Department.
To take part, a minimum sponsorship of £1,200 (about $1,800) is required, plus the cost of flights to and from Tel Aviv. The sponsorship will cover the tour costs, such as accommodation and meals, with remaining funds donated to the work of the Chaplaincy.
